How Intersociety Is Governed

The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law is governed by the Board of Trustees which is the supreme organ. The Board is assisted by 15 administrative departments. The general administration of the Organization is trusted in the hands of the founder, who is also the Board Chairman and Lead-Director. Assisting him in this regard are key volunteers manning the 15 departments briefly explained below. The 15 administrative departments involve departments of: security and safety, democracy and good governance, civil liberties and rule of law, international justice and human rights, campaign and publicity, social media communications, field data collection and documentation, peace and conflict resolution, litigations and public petitions, human rights education, women and children’s rights, membership department, human rights and democracy defenders, finance and accounts and information and communications technology (ICT).  Most of the administrative services in the running of Intersociety are provided voluntarily while the rest are provided by paid staff and consultants. The latter include a technical manager who manages Intersociety website.
