Anayo Okoli

Anayo Okoli, an Umunze, Orumba-South of Anambra State-born seasoned journalist is the South-East Regional Editor of the Vanguard Newspapers and holder of HND (Bachelor of Science) in Mass Communications and Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations and Strategic Studies, PGDSS. He is also an astute Human Rights and Democracy Campaigner and Defender since 2002. Chief Anayo Okoli also belongs to the generation of dogged and uncompromising journalists that stood their ground and joined forces with other Democracy and Human Rights voices to restore the sacred electoral mandate of former Gov Peter Obi of Anambra State from 2003 to 2006 and has since then remained a leading and respected Democracy Voice and Writer. It was in recognition of the above that he was made a Board Member of the Intersociety in 2008; a revered position he retains since then. Chief Anayo Okoli has also been one of the staunchest supporters of the Intersociety and is partly instrumental to a long-lasting good relationship between the Intersociety and the Nigerian Media

Blessing Chidiebere Ohia-Umeagbalasi

Blessing Chidiebere Ohia-Umeagbalasi (Mrs.) is an Arondizogu, Ideato-North of Imo State-born wife of Emeka Umeagbalasi (Founder of the Intersociety). She obtained her Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) and later Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka via Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State. Mrs. Blessing Ohia-Umeagbalasi is respected mother, Public Secondary School Teacher, and a devoted member of the Deeper Life Bible Church where she holds various evangelical leadership positions. She is also an advocate of children and women’s rights and societal uprightness as well as a moral instructor and social evangelizer. Mrs. Blessing Ohia-Umeagbalasi has been very supportive of her husband (Emeka Umeagbalasi) since the formation of the Intersociety in 2008 and in all his Rights and Democracy advocacy works or activities including cracking research and investigations. It was in recognition of her noble and courageous roles above that the extended Family of Umeagbalasi recommended her as ‘a Board Member’ at the formation of the Intersociety in 2008; a strategic position she retains till date.
